PURPOSE
To study all aspects of the American Civil War, also known as the War Between the States, and to promote the interchange of knowledge about it. Our members' interests are varied and their knowledge ranges from elementary to expert.
ACTIVITIES
- Nine dinner meetings per year (September - May)
- Our dinner meetings feature a speaker who addresses a Civil War Topic. See Meeting Link on Menu (above/left)
- You can make and pay for reservations online via the Meeting Page
- A five-day Spring Field Trip
- An annual chapter contribution to a Civil War preservation project
- An annual PICNIC that usually involves BOURBON & BARBECUE at a special venue

MEMBERSHIP
New members are always welcome! There are four levels of membership:
- Single Membership: $50.00 (Basic Membership)
- Family Membership: $60.00 (Allows spouse or family member to join. $5 for each additional family member living at the same address.)
- Patron Membership: $75.00 or more (Single or Family Membership, plus financial gift to LCWRT; the gift portion is deductible for income tax purposes.)
- Student Membership: $10.00 (Special membership for students)
